Called today and ordered one in. Cost was $40.00
I asked for a price and was told 95.00 before he checked the toyota web site and saw the clearance price. |

Really the best possible shift knob for the MKIV (IMO) is the factory one.

If you buy a quality Name brand one they are pretty good the wal mart and c tire ones are all shit.... I have a Razo one that came with the car and never had a problem, a few friends have bought Sparco ones and they work great as well as long as installed properly... haha long story

I know this an old thread but I need to bump it.. the local toyota dealership doesnt have sizes for their trd shiftknobs.. just applications. it's for my supra but I bought a beech performance short throw shifter and it says it needs 12mm x 1.75 threads. dopes anyone know what stock toyota has this measurement for their shifter?

OEM shifter threads are same as wheel studs.
As far as I know, M12x1.75 is not a popular thread. Perhaps he meant 1.5, which I'm quite sure is the wheel studs. |
