Looking for a rust free shell or MK3

Well, with the car being toast, all the innards are still ok. 7MGTE only has about 10,000 km on it and the R154 is a Jack Transmission built R154.

I'm thinking about buying a clean shell (and rust free means quarter panels clean, which most rust-free MK3's are not). I would like to stay within Alberta if possible and would consider buying a finished MK3 if someone has one that needs nothing. (I'm fine with stock, but I want a targa top... that's a must have).

I have seen some shells from Edmonton (via photos) and am considering those, but for the most part, I haven't seen any on the Canada side that don't need paint/bodywork.

If I buy a complete MK3, there's gonna be a massive part-out happening.


So far... it seems I have to travel to Arizona, or Cali to get a shell and that isn't going to be a simple task. (seeing as I will have to have it built and inspected in Canada prior to insuring/registering...)

On facebook I saw someone hint that your new car was almost done. Cant wait to see it!

Well, the car is painted and being assembled.

From old Supra:
Diff, R154, 7MGTE and all attachments, electronics (including HKS EVC-S and Fcon Vpro 3.3, all suspension/steering/brakes, wheels, exhaust, full interior and glass, hatch.

Addons:
Kaminari 3 piece wing, Shine auto S2 airguide in a 90 bumper, Shine auto lip, my old Shine auto side skirts (reshaped to actually match all body lines), rear bumper addons (reshaped and repaired)

The painter added some more pearl and red for the flip to the paint I used to have, so the colour will have a deeper shine and a bit more red on the curves, but will still be the Magnetic Metallic Grey that it was.

I am not allowed to see the car now until it's done... lol. Very hard to wait... expecting it to be complete about October 15th. Then I have to add the QSV and retune.

Looking forward to this... any updates will appear on my build thread here now, instead of in this thread.
