If anyone who's going there could grab the driver's side door handle for me, I'd appreciate it!

Well went for a look today...yep rough shape. Every so often I start thinking turbo 5m ....all I need is aturbo, manifold and some other goodies. Turbo is indeed siezed, although the impeller seems to be in not bad shape. Oh well there goes that thought, it does looke like somebody tried to pull it off and is in various stages of decay.

Dan, if you need the trim piece for the handle, the part that houses the door lock/key, that is broken. The actual door puller/lever seems to be fine. Not really sure if that makes sense, but maybe there's a little hope. Didnt really look for the old thread, forgot which piece you needed.

siezed turbo is still a good core for a 57 trim or bigger upgrade. which IMO is a good thing, i wouldn't turbo another 5m without at least doing a stock rebuild.

Somewhere in the back of my head I'm hoping the oil leak is severe enough to pull it...god forbid. But it would be an excuse to rebiuld and perhaps add some goodies.

@abuseddog: Well, if the turbo's still there, that should mean that the manifold is also still there... Not that manifolds are in that short a supply, I think, but it still seemed expensive when I started looking. And a core for rebuild... Hmmm... I'm thinking that might not be so bad...

Anyway, it's the actual door handle that I need, though I'm not sure that I want to go through the trouble of removing the lever from the rest of it. I think if I were going to do that, I'd just drill in a pin and JB weld the one that I have.

Anyone know if the tranny is in good shape? How much would they charge? Anyone willing to pull it for me?
