you should have seen the 2jz mk3 earl.....he makes it work, but i have seen less ghetto stuff come from fat guys with mullets named bubba.

hammering firewall, no heater, no AC, couldn't make the ecu work, even though eveyone else uses the stock ecu just fine, little rattles and noises, didn't change the oil filter, spark plugs, or anything on the JDM engine before putting it in.

Some of the work i saw at his shop was nice, but some of it was almost as bad as the car i above.

Less impressed with his work everytime i see more of it.

Yea Raymond is too funny. No mickey mouse he always says. He knows nothing about new technology. He gave me the same story about my 89 supra when I had the 550cc injectors and the lexus AFM. He is good for somethings and other things do not trust him on.

Humm well thats NFG. My buddy had his motor done there and it lasted 3 weeks. We figured he blew it again cause of the NOS but now it might have been the Mickey Mouse club...hehehe

Another old thread brought back up :P I hadn't looked at this thread until after talking to the guy, but it all makes sense now.

I called a few machine shops for quotes on head work, and was refered to Silverstone. The guy really doesn't keep up with the times. He asked what exactly I was doing with the car, and I'd get about 4-5 words out before he'd cut me off and tell me I was doing everything wrong. The guy actually flipped out at me when I told him I was putting the 2000cc injector dynamics in (for those who don't know about them, they are tried, tested, and true for great idling despite their size, and can make over 1400hp on alcohol). He proceded to give me crap for buying the "never heard of" GSC S2 cams.

The guy really hasn't changed a bit.
