88 Cressida Calgary PnP

I yoinked a lot of the suspension, but the 5m-ge looks to be in great shape. Diff and driveshaft are in the trunk. Auto transmission.

Be aware that the rear subframe on the cressida is longer than the supra one, and the halfshafts are slightly longer. The rear control arms and front suspension (except the subframe) are the same, as well as the smaller rear 'differential' subframe

Are you sure? Everything else I've read says they're the same and comparing parts would indicate only the rear swaybar is different.

It's why the sway bar is different. You can try to put it on your car, but it might not fit.

The rear track is wider so the subframe, antiroll bar and halfshafts are all longer.

I'll try to put it on Friday - the main crossmembers seem to be identical, even when measuring. Worst case scenario I've got two very good condition trailing arms to use, which we both agree are identical. My rear crossmember is in a repairable state, whereas the trailing arms were rusted right through.

Yep - the rear subframe is rarely beyond help. Sandblast and paint.
